Cast aluminum and stainless steel create a synthesis of form and function in the NOVARA. The angular heavy cast aluminum housing is punctuated by distinctive cooling fins. Mounting knobs are constructed of polished high-grade stainless steel. Single or twin configurations may be fitted with a clear, etched, or optional prismatic lens. Electrical conductor is housed in attractive braided stainless steel line. Straight round steel bollard shaft with flush handhole and mounting bracket are hot-dip galvanized prior to being finished in finely textured paint. All hardware is stainless steel. NOVARA 260/260VRB Vandal resistant model same as NV 2600 bollard except with concealed wire way and rigid luminaire mounting.

HOUSING
Wedge-shaped housing is cast from high-grade aluminum alloy with integrated cooling fins to enhance heat dissipation. Segregated electrical compartment with separate cast aluminum cover is thermally isolated from the optical system, ensuring optimal operating environment for electrical components. Door assembly is one piece brushed stainless steel and sealed with closed cell silicone gasketing when closed. Door is retained by captive stainless steel socket head cap screws. Braided stainless steel line houses cable, terminating in watertight couplings at both ends. Housing is adjustable by means of two precision-machined polished stainless steel knobs. Mounting bracket assembly is fabricated steel, hot-dip galvanized prior to painting. Two offset rows of three recessed setscrews secure the mounting bracket to the bollard shaft. Luminaire is available in single or twin mount configurations. All hardware is stainless steel.

OPTICS
LED light engine consists of three high output, multi-chip LED arrays fitted with prismatic lens optics to produce a uniform asymmetric light distribution pattern suitable for pathways and sidewalks. Luminaire emits zero uplight at or above 90 degrees horizontal and qualifies for use in LEED zones LZ1, LZ2, LZ3, and LZ4. Color temperature may be 3000K or 4000K with CRI greater than 80.

ELECTRICAL
Integral LED driver is housed in luminaire head and consumes 11 watts at 350 mA. Input voltage range is 120v - 277v AC, 50-60 Hz. High power factor LED driver shall be UL recognized.

SHAFT
Steel bollard shaft is manufactured from cold drawn seamless mechanical tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.126''. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8'' and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Tenon is machined and plug welded into the bollard shaft, showing no visible weld at the transition. Shaft is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting.

FINISH
Housing is ultrasonically cleaned prior to painting. Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special colors available on request.

WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period including LEDs is five years. Driver shall carry the manufacturer's limited warranty.
