REGULUS 150 Square Tree Grate

CONSTRUCTION
Four-piece tree grate is machine cast from grey iron exceeding ASTM A48 Class 35B (EN GJL 250). After casting, the parts are sandblasted with stainless steel beads. Edges are deburred and sanded for uniform quality free of surface defects. Watering hole with removable plug is included in each half of the grate. Tree grate shall have recycled content of 100% and is 100% recyclable.

FRAME
Two piece mounting frame is fabricated from steel consisting of 1.575" square tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.118" welded to 2.75" wide bar stock with nominal thickness of 0.236". The two frame sections align true to each other when assembled through guide pins welded to each of the frame sections and bolted together with M10x35 stainless steel socket head cap bolts. Mounting frame installs onto concrete foundation provided by others and is secured to the foundation in six places with hardware provided by others. Steel frame is hot-dip galvanized for superior corrosion protection. Recycled content of mounting frame is 44% and is 100% recyclable.
